Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pure Kosher (“Pure K”) website at purek.org and the information and services offered through it. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About Our Services
Pure K provides kosher certification and supervision services to food companies. Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes and does not by itself create a certification relationship. Pure K does not certify meat or restaurants.
Certification Is Subject to a Separate Agreement
Any certification of a product or facility is governed by a separate written certification agreement between Pure K and the client. Certification is granted only after review and approval, and may be conditioned, limited, suspended, or withdrawn in accordance with that agreement and our standards.
Use of the Pure K Symbol
The Pure K symbol and name may be used only by certified clients, only on approved products, and only in accordance with the terms of a valid certification agreement and letter of authorization. Unauthorized use of the Pure K symbol or name is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the Pure K mark, is the property of Pure Kosher or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
Accuracy of Information You Provide
If you apply for certification, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate information about your products, ingredients, suppliers, and facilities. Certification decisions rely on the accuracy of this information, and you agree to promptly notify us of any changes.
Informational Content & No Warranty
Guidance, articles, and answers published on this website are provided for general education and may not address your specific situation. They do not constitute a halachic ruling for your personal practice. The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Kosher and its personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Liability relating to certification services is addressed in the applicable certification agreement.
Confidentiality
We understand that product formulations and supplier information are sensitive. Confidential information shared with us in connection with certification is handled in accordance with our certification agreement and Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pure Kosher operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
